Takeshi Fukuda graduated from The Jikei University School of Medicine in 2008. Following his Radiology residency at The Jikei University Hospital, he obtained certification from the Japanese Board of Diagnostic Radiology in 2014. He then spent two years, from 2017 to 2019, as a visiting scholar at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in 2020.
He currently serves as AMS's Secretary, having previously been an EXCO member and Chair of the Youth Subcommittee. His research interests primarily focus on the role of dual-energy CT and advanced MRI techniques in musculoskeletal imaging.
